The Annual Chuck Wagon Festival takes places the The Chisholm in Kingfisher, Oklahoma every year! This is the largest FREE Chuck Wagon festival in the region. Let me show you some of the activities that were available!
11 Chuck Wagons
There were eleven wagons cooking samples of food for people to try! There were lines everywhere and people were so excited to try the yummy food.

Live Music
There were different kinds of live music for people to enjoy throughout the day. Cowboy Jim Garling played the guitar and sang in the museum. Kyle Dillingham played and sang on the stage. There were other people stationed in various places throughout the grounds also playing music.

Family-Friendly Activities
There were family-friendly activities set up all around the grounds. You could ride a horse, sit on a longhorn and have your picture made, or learn how to sew. There were two gunfight demonstrations at the mansion as well. There were different tables set up where you could look at historical items which I thought was cool!

The Chisholm Trail Museum
The museum was also open and free to the public. You could walk around and look at the exhibitions, farming equipment, and historic buildings. I LOVED it!

Concluding Thoughts
I thought this festival was so fun and well put together! I loved that it was a FREE event for families to enjoy together. This is an annual event, so I hope you’ll go check it out next year!
Happy Traveling! I’ll talk to ya soon 🙂
