Hey, friend! Merry Christmas! Today, I want to show you around the Sapulpa Route 66 Christmas Chute in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

This Christmas tradition has been on my bucket list for a few years now! I saw photos floating around on Facebook of this Christmas Chute and have wanted to visit ever since! I was in Tulsa for a work trip this past week and made the decision to pop by Sapulpa on my way home so I could see it!

There are ten stations decorated with varying themes!

1. Nativity
2. Snowman
3. Elf
4. Patriotic
5. Western
6. Route 66
7. Rudolph
8. Let it Snow
9. Candyland
10. Santa

There are also a ton of cute photo booths along the path. They have cutouts and wall backdrops you can stand in front of!

There’s even a sleigh at the end of the street underneath the large Christmas tree! If you look at the very end of the photo below you can see the Christmas tree.

I loved this blue and white station – it was very classy. The photo station was classy as well with a white back drop.

The Elf station was full of yellows and greens obviously! It was fun and had several photo ops.

The Grinch is my favorite thing about Christmas and I loved finding the photo station with him in it! The ornament below was huge! I think it might’ve been taller than me actually.

There is plenty of shopping to be had during the Route 66 Christmas Chute. There are vendors and food trucks set up at one end of Main Street. The businesses are also open along the street. I popped into a few of them to get my Oklahoma Route 66 Passport stamped. As always, I encourage you to shop small and shop local when you can!

Concluding Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed scrolling through the photos! The streets are literally alive with holiday magic. It warmed my heart to walk the streets and see people laughing and smiling.

I loved seeing everything during the day, but some of the volunteers said it was even more magical in the evening when it was dark outside and I’d believe it!
