Hey, friend! Welcome back to another post! Today, I want to show you around the Sapulpa Fire Museum in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Let’s get started!
TRAVEL TIP: You have to visit the Sapulpa Historical Museum and ask the curator to let you inside the Sapulpa Fire Museum.
Museum History & Exhibitions
Originally, Standard Motor Supply built the building for their business. The Sapulpa Fire Museum bought the building in the early 2000s. The Sapulpa Historical Society renovated the building for the two fire trucks and historic equipment.
The photo below shows the Sapulpa Fire Stations throughout the years. I loved seeing the historic photos!

This group of photos talked about the major fires that affected Sapulpa throughout the town’s history.

Both fire trucks on exhibition are still drivable and are taken out each December for the Christmas parade in Sapulpa. The local firefighters drive the trucks which I think is so cool!

1949 American La France Fire Truck

The remainder of the photos show items on display in the museum.
